If you want your transfers to be handled automatically, you need to set up a transfer agreement.
It typically takes around 7 days from the time you sign the agreement until it is sent to us. Once we receive it, we will send you an email notification.

You can read more about the process after signing up here.

See our FAQ about the transfer service here.

FAQ

When can I use my Transfer Agreement?

🔗

When you set up a Transfer Service agreement, the process is managed by Transfer Service and your bank. We only receive notification of the agreement once everything has been fully processed, and unfortunately, we cannot provide any updates or insights during the process.

The Process – What Can You Expect?

Two emails will be sent during the process, provided everything goes according to plan:

  • Approval from the bank: You will receive the first email when the bank approves the agreement.

  • Completion from Transfer Service: After this, it can take up to 4 business days for Transfer Service to process the agreement and send it to us.

Once Transfer Service has sent the agreement, you will receive an email, and we will be notified of the agreement. It may take up to one business day from when you receive the email until we have the agreement and it becomes visible in Salary.

What should you do if you haven’t received confirmation from us?

If you’ve received a notification from Transfer Service that the agreement has been approved, and you haven’t received an email from us within one business day, you should contact Transfer Service. They can inform you whether the agreement has been forwarded to us.

Important Notes

Unfortunately, we have experienced cases where the agreement was not successfully sent from Transfer Service. We cannot use the agreement in Salary until we have received it. If Salary has not received the agreement, we cannot process transfers on your behalf—even if you’ve been told that the agreement was approved.

If you have questions about your agreement, you can contact Transfer Service at +45 80 81 07 08.

How do I change the account from which salary is withdrawn?

If you have a Transfer Service agreement, you unfortunately cannot simply change the account associated with the agreement. The agreement is tied to the original account, so you will need to create a new agreement if you change bank accounts. See the instructions above.

What transfers does Salary make on my behalf via Transfer Service?

Once you have set up a transfer agreement with Transfer Service, Salary will automatically ensure that salaries and taxes are paid on time. Salary instructs Transfer Service to withdraw money from the bank account linked to your agreement.

You can recognize these transfers in the following ways:

  • Salary Transfer: This is the payment of salaries to your employees and the fee for using Salary. There will only be one transaction per pay period from your business account for the total amount.

  • INFO-OVF60900: This is the payment of withheld A-tax and AM-contribution for the previous month, transferred directly to your tax account at SKAT. You can see the receipt of this amount at skat.dk under “Skattekontoen” no later than 5 days after the transfer.

    • For small businesses, this transfer takes place on the 10th of each month, except in January, when it is on the 17th.

    • For large businesses, the transfer takes place on the last banking day of the month. If the bank is closed that day, the transfer will take place on the next banking day.

  • INFO-OVF61800: This is the payment of withheld ATP for the previous quarter. The amount is transferred directly to ATP. You can see the payment at virk.dk no later than 5 days after the transfer. Transfers occur on the following dates:

    • First quarter: February 7

    • Second quarter: May 7

    • Third quarter: August 7

    • Fourth quarter: November 7

  • INFO-OVF62400: This is the payment of holiday pay to Feriekonto.dk. You can see the payment on Feriekonto.dk within 5 days. Salary ensures that holiday pay is deposited correctly, depending on when the pay period ends:

    • If the pay period ends on the 15th of the month, the deadline for payment is the last banking day of the same month.

    • If the pay period ends after the 16th, the deadline is the 15th of the following month.

    • If the deadline falls on a weekend or public holiday, the deadline is the last banking day before.

If you have terminated salaried employees, Salary ensures that any remaining vacation days are properly paid into Feriekonto, provided the termination is processed before payroll is run.

  • INFO-OVF63100: This is the payment of pension contributions to a pension company. Depending on the pension provider, the pension payment may also be included in the salary payment itself rather than transferred with this code.

You can always see which transfers Salary will make from your bank account by checking a payroll run under the “Transfers” section or under “Company” -> “Transfers”.

How do I change a manual transfer to automatic if I have already approved the payroll?

🔗

If you approve a payroll before your Transfer Service agreement is active, all transfers will be marked as manual. Once your Transfer Service agreement is active, you can change manual transfers (except salary) to automatic.

Here's how:

1. Go to Company -> Transfers.

2. You will see a list of all transfers that have been made or are scheduled for future dates.

3. Click on Switch to Transfer Service or Switch to Manual, depending on how you want the transfer to be handled. Once you click “Switch to Transfer Service,” the amount will be transferred within 2 banking days.
